As artificial intelligence workloads grow rapidly across global markets, Cisco is expanding its Secure AI Factory architecture through a major partnership with Supermicro and NVIDIA. The collaboration brings high-density liquid and air-cooled server systems into Cisco’s full-stack infrastructure to meet the surging demands of enterprise, neocloud, and sovereign cloud environments.

The new initiative aims to help organizations tackle significant power, cooling, and data security challenges when scaling modern AI models. By combining Supermicro high-density servers with Cisco networking systems, customers can deploy validated, rack-scale computing setups with greater ease. The full-stack solution supports intensive tasks ranging from massive trillion-parameter model training, to high-throughput edge inferencing.

It starts with the right infrastructure: compute and networking, delivered as an integrated solution that’s easy to deploy and secure from day one.”

The expanded infrastructure features full compliance with NVIDIA Cloud Partner standards. Cisco utilizes its Silicon One switches alongside NVIDIA Spectrum-X based platforms, bringing them together, under Cisco Nexus One management. This makes Cisco the only NVIDIA technology partner using its own switches and network operating system within an NVIDIA Cloud Partner compliant architecture.

Through this unified architecture, enterprises can deploy rack-to-fabric liquid cooling that pairs Cisco networking platforms directly with Supermicro hardware. This setup optimizes system performance, while keeping operational costs and energy consumption under control.

To help reduce deployment friction, Cisco is introducing Cisco Validated Infrastructure Services aligned with NVIDIA offerings. This service verifies that every rack-scale build matches its original reference design before going live. Additionally, operators can manage these environments using familiar tools like NVIDIA AI Enterprise and Cisco Cloud Control.

Cisco will begin rolling out these integrated Supermicro compute solutions as part of its Secure AI Factory portfolio starting in October 2026, offering global organizations a streamlined path toward reliable, high-density AI deployment.
