Australian Network-as-a-Service provider Megaport has partnered with Wasabi Technologies to integrate Wasabi’s cloud object storage directly into its infrastructure platform. The collaboration allows Megaport to extend its private network across Wasabi’s 16 global storage regions, strengthening its ongoing push into the neocloud market.

Through this integration, enterprise customers can access scalable object storage for a wide variety of modern workloads. Supported use cases include artificial intelligence data platforms, data lakes, analytics, cloud-native applications, media repositories, and cyber resilience backup strategies.

The partnership reflects a broader trend among enterprises shifting toward multi-vendor cloud architectures. Rather than locking into a single monolithic provider, organizations increasingly connect specialized, high-performance services to build flexible environments.
