Auditoria.AI announced a major expansion of its agentic AI offerings for the Office of the CFO. The Santa Clara-based company, known for its autonomous finance solutions, introduced official certified integrations with Workday, the general availability of its conversational analyst SmartResearch, and advanced accounts payable agents designed to monitor supplier risk and reconcile statements.
The announcements mark a critical maturation point in enterprise AI. As companies move past superficial AI experimentation, finance leaders are searching for systems that can handle real cash flow, supplier compliance, and financial reporting under strict governance.
The Core Pillar of Governed Autonomy
At the heart of these announcements is Auditoria’s Governed Autonomy framework. Rather than requiring a human in the loop for every minor transaction, Auditoria’s AI agents execute autonomously within guardrails predefined by the enterprise.
“Finance teams do not need more disconnected AI tools. They need intelligence that can operate safely across real financial workflows,” said Rohit Gupta, CEO and Co-Founder of Auditoria.AI. “SmartResearch is becoming the intelligence layer for the Office of the CFO, while Governed Autonomy ensures those agents can operate within the controls, policies, and audit expectations enterprise finance requires.”
SmartResearch Reaches General Availability
Auditoria’s conversational AI financial analyst, SmartResearch, is now globally available. The platform enables finance teams to interact with their system of record using natural language. It fuses ERP data with external market intelligence to generate audit-ready financial insights, supplier trend analysis, and complex simulations, providing full source lineage for auditing.
As part of the general availability launch, SmartResearch capabilities have been funneled deeply into accounts payable workflows. This allows teams to instantly query spend patterns, identify payment risks, and isolate operational exceptions.
Certified Integration with Workday Agent System of Record
Adding enterprise-grade trust to its deployment, Auditoria announced that SmartResearch has achieved official certification in the Workday Marketplace. The integration is officially registered to Workday’s Agent System of Record (ASOR).
Workday ASOR acts as a centralized gatekeeper for AI agents entering corporate networks. It handles centralized identity propagation, lifecycle management, entitlement enforcement, and strict audit controls. This certification ensures that Auditoria’s autonomous agents operate under the exact same security policies and user permissions established in an organization’s core Workday environment.
Expanding Autonomous AP Operations
Auditoria is also doubling down on automated, everyday execution with the introduction of two specialized accounts payable agents designed to protect and optimize cash flow.
AP Vendor Watch
Now available, AP Vendor Watch functions as a continuous, 24/7 background agent. It autonomously tracks real-time supplier health signals across ERP environments, identifying emerging risks based on enterprise-configured thresholds and flagging them before they can disrupt the supply chain.
AP Statement Reconciliation
Currently in preview and slated for release later this quarter, this agent automates the labor-intensive task of matching vendor statements against internal ledgers. By systematically catching discrepancies, duplicate billing, and payment gaps early, the agent aims to protect working capital and preserve supplier goodwill.
Shifting From Systems of Record to Intelligence
The broader industry impact of this launch was captured by R “Ray” Wang, Founder and Principal Analyst at Constellation Research.
“Finance is moving from systems of record to systems of intelligence, and this category of technology is leading that shift. Agentic AI purpose-built for the Office of the CFO, connecting disparate enterprise data, reconciling unstructured context, and delivering continuous cash intelligence that drives autonomous decision-making, demonstrates what is possible.”
By embedding its tools deep within certified ecosystems like Workday, Auditoria is laying down the operational blueprint for how large enterprises can scale AI safely, auditably, and effectively.
